Kategorie:RE:Stammdaten überprüfen
In this category – part of RE:Wartung – you find articles, which are generated by an automated process every night. The articles are generated from the data in the registers. This means the data don't have to be correct. Please check the following things before you remove an article from this category:
Open the linked scan to find the information, recommended way using the "Bildergalerie im Original" link, which you can find in the textbox "top right" on every article.
- Does the article exist at this issue of the RE
- Is
SPALTE_STARTandSPALTE_ENDcorrect? It can happen quite often, that there is just the start column set. You can find the end by browsing throw the scans. We recommend using the link "Bildergalerie im Original", which you can find in every RE article. - Is the article in
VORGÄNGERandNACHFOLGERreally the article before and after this one. !!! Really check with the scans. Mistakes here will cause potentially missing articles. - Check the string in the template
REAutorto the autor string you find in the printed text at the end of the article. It is possible that there is not a string for this article. In this case find the next one in one of the following articles. For short articles not every article gets the author string. Pure redirects to other articles also don't have an author you can writeOFFin those cases. - If the author of the article isn't in the public domain yet, check if the article is short enough to put
KEINE_SCHÖPFUNGSHÖHEtoON. In that case the article can be transcribed.
Optional (advanced users):
- Check the
KURZTEXTand set it to something, that is fitting to represent the subject described in the article (you can then remove the category "RE:Kurztext überprüfen" as well) - set connections to
WIKIPEDIAif there is a connected article in one of the language versions - if you find a connection to a
GNDitem, you can set this as well - An introduction should be separated as much as possible. Please avoid replicating the introduction in front of each article. General rule: a) wherever the 1) comes on the same line of the introduction (which, in this case, is very short) then just put this text in front of the first article. b) In all cases in which there is a change of line before 1), please distinguish two articles.
- Check R Text on a possible renaming of the article. An example is Krisa. The * says, there is a new nummber for this article. But don't worry, ‚experts‘ have problems too.
- In the Register R the Pauly Team decided for the rule: do not to use greek letters. We ignore this and redirect the lemma RE:Leben(a) to RE:Λεβήν.
- For more see Wikisource:RE-Werkstatt/Anleitung.
If you find an article, which has several parts or is too complex, just skip it (and, if you want, add a report in the talk page of this category). There are seasoned editors around to tackle those. You can post us a link on the discussion page of this category.
Thanks for your help!
