[Bearbeiten]- The journal was founded as The Street Railway Review was founded in 1891 and was published under this titles from 1.1891 - 16.1906, Jun.
- As of Jan 1906 (vol 16.1906), the journal was acquired by The Wilson Company in Chicago.
- As of July 1906, the new publisher changed the title to Electric Railway Review, under which name the journal was published for two more years. For 1906 only, the journal featured the sub-heading formerly The Street Railway Review making explicit reference to the preceding title.
- As of Jan 1907, volume count changed to 2 volumes per year (17.1907, Jan-Jun and 18.1907, Jul-Dec). This was presumably due to on the one hand the change from monthly to weekly issues and, in connection with that, the substantial growth in the number of pages.
- The last half-year volume 19.1908 finished with the May issue, as from June 1908 the journal merged with The Street Railway Journal to form the Electric Railway Journal
